We have been running together unofficially for about a year. The Soggy Milemakes it real — every other Saturday, a four-mile loop of Green Lake,no-drop, every pace welcome. This is the kickoff.Show up at the north shore at 9. Run when you are ready, walk the day youneed to. There is a bag drop, a pace leader for anyone who wants one, and hotcoffee plus a stack of dry socks at the finish — the only post-run essentialsthat matter in this city.RSVP so we can send the route the night before and make the weather call ifit comes to that. No cost, no cap. Bring a friend, bring a dog, bring ajacket you do not mind getting wet.
